Thanks I think it's the original but it seems I can't read it as it seems to be limited, and it says that borrowing is for some reason unavailable.

I was able to borrow it. Is there any specific pages you want screen capped?
Edit: I made pngs of the entire book. How do I get it to you?

This damn book asked me to take notes, so I didn't read it yet.

If you want to learn from the book, you’ll buy a copy and read with a highlighter. A really important book for anyone who’s trying to better themself.

I do have a translated copy, I just don't want to draw all over it, even with highlighter.

I own an older copy without this anecdote I purchased from Thriftbooks, maybe give it a look!

You'll need to check the listings individually, but looks like there are a few for sale on places like Abebooks. You can filter by publication date to exclude most of the newer editions.

Thanks but those all seem to be physical copies and I am searching for a digital one.

Ohh that might be tough to find. I was given my parents copy as a teen so I'm pretty sure it was one of the 1936 prints but about 5 yrs ago when I went looking for the ebook that version didn't seem to exist.

It'll be public domain in two years and it's unlikely anybody will be actively policing piracy by now. Just search around.

Hi there. Your post would be better asked in our Simple Questions thread. It helps us keep the main subreddit focused around broader discussion rather topics which only apply to an individual. Thank you!

I don't know if this one you can check out from the Internet Archive Library is the original, but it doesn't have any copyright date other than 1936 in it. It's certainly at least old.
Now I have an anecdote, the only person I've ever seen reading that book in real life was the absolute worst roommate I ever had. Here's a free tip - you don't win friends and influence people by accusing them of deliberately making you miss class.
