I've been to The Fix which is good but people on here seem to hate it. So what else is there out there? What should I try?

Edit: Thanks so much guys! A lot of places to try! I like the Fix but it seems like there's a lot of other good options out there.

Lakeside makes a good burger for a great price. I prefer them over the Fix.

I like the Fix. Its good food, the problem is its very overpriced.

Ralphs Diner. Maryanne makes the best burger I've ever had, Chip is a close 2nd, new guy flipped it and spanked it too much.

Not really Worcester but since depending where you are in Worcester you might be closer to it then some other burger spots that are actually in Worcester, I gotta give it up to Red Robin (Millbury).

I know when people ask for the best of things, the answer is not normally a chain, and I'm one of the ones that will typically be disappointed to get a chain for an answer. But Red Robin truly does make an amazing burger. Add to that that you can get bottomless fries and bottomless drinks, it's one of the best food values out there.

I don't think The Fix is as good as it used to be.

I cannot say one place has a better burger over another- but places I can recall the best burgers- and these would be bacon cheeseburgers- 2 restaurants stick out for me- 1. The Boynton and 2. The Fix. After that- I cannot say for sure… but those two burgers are in my memory and I have not been out for burger in years- and both of these restaurants are still in business- Wherever you decide- enjoy!!

In Worcester: either Ralph's or Armsby Abbey.

Depends on my mood.

A bit outside of Woo: Brickstone Kitchen in Sutton, just past Lenny's on 146. Absolutely phenomenal burger... probably the best one in south county. Mac Smash burger features a fried mac n cheese ball. Their meatballs are also ridiculously good. Great beer selection too.

Question for the crowd - I used to love Brew City’s burgers …. 12-15 years ago at this point, haven’t been back in a long time. This is the 3rd “best burger in Worcester?” post I’ve seen but nobody’s ever mentioned it …. Did it go downhill, did other places just surpass it?

Also OP - another vote for the double smash burger at Armsby!

Mamaroux’s smash burger is probably the best even if you can’t get it all the time. Always has a great crust.

Lou Roc’s has a great patty melt. I’ll classify that as a burger.

it did not go downhill. still amazing.

i always figured they never come up on this sub because this sub is absolutely obsessed with local restaurant trends but gives almost no love to places that have been around forever. half the restaurants people suggest on here don't last more than 5 years.

you can count on one hand the restaurants that are 15+ years old that get suggested here.

They are so good. The last time he did a run, I stood in line for like an hour, freezing because I forgot my coat. when I finally got to the front, he had sold out. Do not sleep on his hot dogs either.

Can’t go wrong with a burg from Ralph’s though.

A little outside Worcester, but there is a newish place in the center of Charlton called Bellies Breakfast Barnyard. Very meat heavy menu, but everything is delicious. Brioche buns, giant burgers. Thursday night special is a $10 burger and fries.

I’ve had The Fix once. I loved the burger. It was salty but delicious. The fries tasted frozen. I’d probably go again but get the homemade chips instead.

I agree with the Ralph's comments. If you want a decent cheap takeout burger don't sleep on Newton Square Pizza. Their fries are garbage but it's a handmade patty with basic fixings and it just hits right.

I'm not into the wacky burgers at the Fix, though their plain is fine. Just give me a reasonably sized burger patty (4-6oz) with American cheese, LTO, pickles, and a little ketchup and mayo.

Ralphs has the best basic burger in Worcester. Just don't drink anything that doesn't come from a bottle, I don't believe they have the cleanest lines as I have gotten sick there. My gf and I both got burgers, but she got a beer in a bottle and I got a draft. I was up all night with the shits, she was fine.

Apparently, it's been a while since I went there. What's up with the decor?

Red Robin is S-tier for chain restaurants. While never exactly mind blowing, they're always solid. And bottomless steak fries with the campfire sauce, bruh. That's what it's really all about. Steak fry master race fr, fr.

Probably have one of the best beer selections around. Their mac & cheese is a must to experience at least once in your life. Honestly, I've never had a bad meal there.
