This is my favorite part of Washington: even a couple hundred miles away you can see our stratovolcanoes. I grew up in the tri-cities; when I could drive, I'd head up into the hills and see multiple volcanoes at once. I've also taken a lot of trips to the Blue Mountains (near the idaho border) and have seen some of fhe mountains from there.
