You are obligated to do you and let them enjoy themselves. Maybe they just need some joy in their life right now. Don’t be a wet blanket

Too late, I reported them to the Christmas tree authorities.

In years past I was kind of like yuck but I think now I'm like let them be fuckin merry for months. I want to see everyone's fat fuckin bearded bastard inflatables having a neighborhood war. Arm the lawns. Do a Xmas vacation. Light it the fuck up. Im not gonna decorate... but I can appreciate the jolly ole asshole that has the spirit for those of us who won't bother with a candy cane.

Meanwhile, I have a neighbor who's had a portajohn on their lawn for over a year. (No visible signs of construction, inside or out.) The thing stinks.

I'd much prefer a Christmas tree 🎄

I don’t really blame people for starting Christmas right after Halloween. This time of year is a blur. If you wait until after thanksgiving it’ll be over before you know it. At least from my pov where Christmas is over on the 25th.

I think the various Christian Orthodox folks go to January 6th, so it feels like you can get away with at least into the new year.

Fwiw our xmas tree farm warned us this year there’s going to be a shortage bc of drought conditions etc so if you even want a live tree get it before thanksgiving bc they’ll have run out by December.

I would like to report the neighbor who still has a "home of a ____High school 2022 Graduate" sign. It's been 5 months, they finished high school. Move on.

I walked into the pet store this morning and they were playing Christmas music. TOO SOON!

Proud to say I have my Christmas lights and decorations already out in the front lawn.

Shockingly enough the excitement of my children is far more important to me than the opinion of anyone else.

The jolly ol’ fat man can wait his turn. The Turkey hasn’t even had its moment to shine yet.

I think the problem is that we haven’t anthropomorphized the turkey enough. Even the Easter Bunny turns up.

I moved in a new place past year on December 20th. So we put the tree up for a couple of days only. This year I will put it up very early! So you know!

Our neighbors did a few weeks ago. All around, TV, radio, stores, everywhere it seems like Christmas season is much earlier this year. Crap, I even bought a bunch of decorations at TJ max today for the house, something I’ve never done before…

We need to replace Christmas with second Thanksgiving. Christmas is a garbage holiday with awful music and overspending.
