I just moved to South County and I am astonished that there are no adult rec. use dispensaries in the area. With the beach, the tourists, URI…. There is an incredible market… does anyone know if there are any plans on a dispensary opening in the area ever? Haven’t been impressed with the prices at RISE and having to pay toll to drive across Newport Bridge isn’t worth it.

Yes! You will begin to see many popping up as time goes by as we just went rec Dec 1st. Solar is opening soon in Warwick and looks amazing so far, keep your eyes peeled for them!

Also Greenleaf is in Portsmouth, but I personally have never been there so I can't give an opinion there.

Mother Earth so far is nothing but stellar reviews across the board. Their aesthetic, budtenders, and products are all amazing. It's a bit more of a hike but absolutely worth it.

On a side note.. if you show EZ pass proof of RI residency, the bridge is only $0.83 each way

More recreational spots will be popping up eventually. State only gave the pre-established medical places recreational permits for now

Sweetspot in extleter might be your Jam.

Honestly I'm just going to northeast alternatives because I'm close to there for work and the deals are better than anything I can get in RI yet.

Sweet spot in Exeter.

It's a little out of the way for most cause Exeter is....well Exeter, but it's a nice little spot tucked away from the road. My roommate has gone there several times since it opened and had nothing but nice things to say about the staff and selection on offer.

They're trying to establish themselves so they're handing out 20% discounts on orders like it's candy (I've been told).

Keep eyes peeled for OSCC! I work with them making edibles, and we are PUMPED for our stuff to drop shortly. Our flower is testing around 30% thc and up, which is amazing. I'm so excited and proud to represent such an awesome team of cannabis enthusiasts.

Don't bother with GF in Portsmouth. Used to be a great dispensary but greed has fully taken over. Average price of an 1/8 is now $60.

I’ve had a card here for years, and nothing in RI is anywhere near as good as Northeast Alternatives in Fall River. Better selection, better prices.

I mean it's cheaper. nova produces on site and their vip list is excellent on a broke day. Natures often has 10$ 100 mg gummies and 10$ 1gs 20% or above

Slater is ok I used to have a card and it's where I went in ri

They do but it varies in price from $56-70. Sometimes all they have are $66 and $70 price tiers to offer. And at the end when I was going the quality in them was a mixed bag. One week I'd get something really good and then the next really fluffy light shit.

Before RISE what it is now, it was called was Summit and was an ok dispo. The drop-off has been insane. Went once since it was called RISE and will never go back, have heard multiple people say the same.

If only RISE were better, my experience was much more enjoyable when they were Summit. Now they're constantly out of stuff, but you don't find that out until you arrive. The service used to be great as a medical patient too, but now they seem to cater to rec customers. I don't recommend them any longer

The retail industry in RI is still very new, and only 5 of 33 licenses have been granted. If the licensure gives room to 33 business (similar amount of breweries in RI), you will see at least a few South County sooner than later.
