You could also arrange for a car service in Harrisburg to pick her up and take her to the destination or at least to Harrisburg where you can get a train or bus.

That's exactly what I was thinking. If your family was worth seeing for Christmas they sure as shit wouldn't leave you stranded in Breezewood for multiple days.

It's a long story. Nearest family is 4.5 hrs away... But I agree it's what should happen.

4.5 hours and nobody will go get her??? That's awful. Could she afford to get to Bedford? There are some very nice restaurants and cute downtown area plus there's the Bedford Springs Resort.
