Damn, I wish I could go back in time to hang out in Dukes Inn just for one night. Some crazy shit probably went down in that place.

Such a nice car. I wonder how he can afford that. The owner must be a hard working guy. Bless his heart

The Lou Reed song, "Waiting on the Man", comes to mind when I saw this photo.

Given Harlem's reputation in 1975 ,it is a safe bet the owner of that vehicle is not engaged in legal commerce

Nobody's going to mention the graffiti on the car or the guy breaking in?

What graffiti?

The reflection of the store's neon on the trunk sorta looked like it at first. Though I'm not too sure what that is underneath now.

EnvironmentalDeal256 t1_iu1s7wc wrote

I’m not seeing any graffiti. If there was there’s a body out there somewhere because of it.

I think what’s under the trunk is probably water.

I wonder what the interior must've looked like. Probably just as customized as the rest of the car.

Everyone’s got different tastes! In Harlem this was considered great taste. It may not be yours, but respect it.
