Pretty accurate don’t ya think 🤔
Pretty diverse don’t get mad black ppl run shit lol
Accurate for you maybe but it’s not at all accurate for someone else since music taste is subjective. I’ve only heard one of those albums and it doesn’t even crack my top 20
I feel that but I don’t think any album beats Gemini rights in my humble opinion
Closure/Continuation by Porcupine Tree
The Death Of Peace Of Mind by Bad Omens
An Hour before it‘s dark by Marillion
Edit:
The Outsider Tour by Roger Taylor
The Zealot Gene by Jethro Tull
Trash/10
Enter Galactic lolololololololol what.
Just say you hate cudi dumb bitch
No I actually love Cudi. Grew up with his music in middle school and even saw him in concert this year.
It was one of the worst concerts I went to this year out of 25 shows.
Stfu
barf
1.Hostile architecture ashenspire
3.black midi
De today las Flores
Chat pile
I’ve been obsessed with that Chat Pile album
🤣
I don't see Florence + the Machine's album, list is inaccurate.
That’s bae but didn’t listen
Ah you definitely gotta.
" Choreomania " - " Daffodil " - " Cassandra " and " Dream Girl Evil " are greaaaat.
" Heaven is Here " and " My Love " too.

Other people love " King " and " Free " but they're on the bottom of the song list for me. But other people swear they're the best songs on the album. The ONLY song that was a miss for me was " Back in Town "
Where's Weyes Blood, Big Thief, Zeal & Ardor, Bill Callahan, Ashenspire, Cate le Bon, Marina Herlop, Alela Diane, Nas, Darkthrone and Esoctrilihum?
Not top 5
I don't think you listened to them.
Some not all but still who and who
> who and who
You can lead a horse to water...
Yea yeah doubt it better than Lacy or Kendrick keep that edgy shit
Stay in school, and start paying attention in class.
Sounds good it ain’t Kendrick or Lacy

Haven’t listened to any except for Smithereens, but I wouldn’t even put it top 100. It sounded like an unfinished demo album to me.
i don’t know why i hear so many people saying this, it’s not unfinished it just doesn’t suck it’s own dick on every song
Not the production, the actual song structures and ideas. Most of the songs lacked enough substance for me and felt very barren.
For the Joji album ?
It’s not perfect but it does a lot more in 20 minutes than a lot of albums do in an hour+. I think people don’t like it because it’s different.
edit: for the record i’m talking about the song structure and ideas also
My favorite album of all time is Kid A lol, I love experimental music. It’s just unfinished to me. Didn’t enjoy the musical concepts and lack thereof.
For what albums
You didn’t hear 100 albums better stfu
The songs didn’t sound fully fleshed out to me like they were half finished or something. Could’ve been a really good album if they were. Not sure why you’re being hostile.
Cos everyone shitting on my list even tho it’s pretty good
I’m not shitting on it. I haven’t even heard 4 of them, so couldn’t speak on it. Can’t speak for other redditors, though lol
Yea just joined the forum seems like a bunch of degenerate fucks that don’t actually understand music. Just go for the edgy sound that no one knows .
Why do you keep insulting people for having different preferences than you?
🤮
So accurate! Duh
Electricity, Ibibio Sound Machine
Best album of 22 is Lamb Of God - Omens!
Does anyone even buy albums anymore? I figured it’s all streaming singles.
Probably bought over 100 albums this year
Yea streaming wise you probably did lol
Nope, I definitely bought a 100 different vinyl records this year.
Yea and none of them were better than Gemini rights
I couldn't care less. I don't even know what the hell Gemini rights is
Exactly my point go listen it’s the best album of 22 not even close
3.28/5 on rateyourmusic Lol lil bro put a TikTok album #1
Call it what you want but it’s the best album not close boy
so far off man
Come on. Almost all artists still release collections of songs 30-75 minutes in length. Shorter is typically considered and EP, longer a double album.
Singles are…single songs, sometimes released standalone.
I think everyone knows what album means, regardless of whether you are streaming or buying a physical media, or digital files for that matter.
I mean streaming wise it’s all singular but there still is a such thing as best album and Lacy had that hands down
If Xxxtentacion was still alive he would have the best album So I don’t wanna hear it you nerd fucks
Why so aggressive? Seems like this purpose of this post was to start a fight, not a discussion.
What’s your favorite song (or two) on all of these?
What’s u mean all of these
Your top 5 albums
Okay bet. Lacy. Obvi bad habit but Cody freestyle is right there . Kendrick. N95 or count me out . Joji. Glimpse of us, die for you. Cudi. New mode or somewhere to fly . Drake n 21. Rich flex or silence for hours
Thanks for the song suggestions, I listened to all of them.
First off, the good:
The Lamar suggestions are solid. He’s pretty universally celebrated, but I hadn’t listened to anything from this album. Solid. I liked this more than what I have listened to before from other albums, even though I think this one hasn’t been as broadly celebrated.
Joji was good as well, I’ll listen to some more of that album, but the song you suggested was really good.
I didn’t like the Cudi song quite as much, but is was pretty good as well.
The not so good:
I’ve never liked music like Drake, but I’ve never listened to him, so I gave it a whirl. Definitely not for me.
Similar with Lacy, but that one was definitely better than Drake for me
Given that we have pretty different music taste, I think 3/5 was pretty good!
I’ll take a listen here shortly and get back to you. Here are a couple of 2022 standout songs for me. May not be your taste, but you never know…
Big Thief - Time Escaping
The Smile - We don’t know what tomorrow brings
