Last year for the holiday season I asked this sub for suggestions for music videos that are appropriate and engaging for kids under 10, since I was spending the holidays with my nieces and nephews and can only tolerate so much Peppa Pig and Daniel Tiger.

I got some great suggestions, so I wanted to share them here to get more ideas, and to help out anyone else who’s parenting/uncling/aunting and wants to show the kids some cool videos that aren’t just the regular made-for-kids stuff.

Aside from looking for cleanish lyrics and visuals, I found the kids get bored if the video is just the band standing around playing, so I’ve prioritized videos that have cool dancing and/or costumes, or a storyline kids can follow.
