If you posted this a few weeks ago I would’ve suggested Kanye.

Absolutely listen to Kanye, his older work was revolutionary towards rap, basically all of which is great music. The problem is associating him with his music, his actions towards Jewish people absolutely do not reflect his opinions on "Graduation," so why shouldn't I listen to it? I'll listen to all of his music, and MJ's, and even Nickelback, because at the end of the day, I like the music.

Yeah, I’m still going to listen to his albums too. If I stopped listening to artists that had fucked up personal lives, that would eliminate like half of my music collection.

Exactly lmao, most of who I listen to aren't saints by any means, and some of those people or bands have done messed up shit in their past, but they made some bangers and I'm gonna bump 'em.

Seems like mostly poppy stuff, but if you're interested in prog metal at all Colors II by Between The Buried And Me is really good.

I'm trying to get into rap, and also R&B by lesser known artists. The rap part can be by anyone to be honest.
