Why would you make a washing machine knob that doesn't say the exact temperature? Clothing labels never tell me "wash in lukewarm water", instead it's always like "wash in 40°C".

Right? I labeled my washing machine dial with stuff from the manual, Temperature, Timing and Weight/Capacity
