There’s a stone bridge and dam and other structures. Plus, you’ve got a stream running through the place and lots of different vegetation. Kinda makes it feel a little like The Shire. Source: grew up there.

Of all the cool things to take pics of, OP picked the worst possible photo to try to make a Shire comparison. This could be any fucking pond or lake in Maine. Don't even get me started on the post-processing, my eyes hurt too badly to keep typing.

Not all of Maine can be called Hobbitland, even if you’re shrooming at the Biddeford Marden’s, making a couch cushion and luggage fort.

Vaughn's Woods is a particular, actual place in Hallowell, Maine that is locally known as Hobbitland.
