I like to think I’m pretty good at discerning accents and dialects. Both foreign and then like regional accents within the states, Mass vs. Mainer, etc. The guy on all the Mechanical Services confuses the hell out of me. Does anyone know if that’s a particular sub-variant of the Maine accent, or does the guy just have a speech impediment? “Muh-CAHN-uh-cuhll SUUH-vuh-sizz”

I think someone told me there’s like a Scandinavian diaspora up somewhere inland. And that some of those Maine accents are tinted with like Norwegian. I don’t buy it.
