I’m 64. I have heard my whole life from my techie brothers who lived in Conn and Mass that there’s no decent jobs in Maine. You have to leave Maine to ever get ahead etc. and yes it’s possibly worse now but only because of the housing issue which is affecting much of the country. Maine has always had a depressed economy. This is nothing new. I am so appalled by what has happened to housing and rentals and homeless people. The constant threat hanging over our heads to social security which by the way I have paid into my entire flipping life!!!
