Noticed while driving southbound I95, 12 or more police on Augusta on ramp heading north towards Waterville. Traffic stopped.

Anybody know what’s going on? Never seen so many cops in one place.

Why do we have to spend public dollars on it though? I don’t get a free police escort of dozens of vehicles if one of my family members die and free transport of their remains so why do they get special treatment?

A cop in Baileyville died and they were escorting the body to the ME office. There was also a big funeral for another in Bangor today that a lot of LE from around the state attended.

That’s what I’ve come to expect, though the sheer number of police make me think something else is afoot, maybe a chase or wrong way driver?
