May be common sense for some but I feel like many forget including myself so def a LPT. When you go on a road trip, take your wallet out of your back pocket. Back and butt will feel much better long-term. Can be used for local trips too but long trips specifically.

Stop keeping your wallet in your back pocket, you will damage your lower back.

I’m a woman, we don’t have side pockets. I also hate carrying a bag.

Yeah, the travesty of women's pockets is a viable reason.

Even better: if you don't have a lot of cards, buy a rigid thin wallet like Ridge or something like that. They're not only thin but very comfortable to store in a front pocket.

It is weird sitting in a car without a huge lump on your ass but totally worth it for comfort

I have a Hammer Anvil leather one that I've used for about 8 years now and I absolutely love it. 8 card slots and a pocket for cash, blocks RFID, and it's about as thick as two or three cards when empty.

I take mine out and put it in the door handle grip area. It fits there perfectly, and I always have to put my hand there when I'm getting out so no chance forgetting it. In fact, my wallet is almost never in my back pocket when I'm sitting down, probably only when sitting in a restaurant. I had chronic lower back problems from my early 20s and into my late 40s. Stopped sitting on my wallet and the back pain has all but vanished.

Same here. I've been doing it for so long now that it's practically instinctive.

Admittedly there have been times when I've done this when I'm driving someone else's car with no door handle grips and it just looks like I throw my wallet on the ground lol

The only cards I carry are my drivers license, health card, and bank card. I’ve found the plastic insurance folder works great as a wallet and doesn’t screw up my back.

Spent a lot of years in the driver's seat for many hours at a time. Took me awhile to learn this lesson but I too agree with you. Made a lot of my back/hip issues much less noticeable. Take your wallet out of your back pocket when driving any distance!

Problem is then I'm always searching for it.
