I mean I use it each time I park, doesn't everyone? 🤔😮

Sadly no. Too many people trust putting their vehicle into park only while parked on a hill. Those people should not drive

Please just use it every time you park for extended periods of times. It will save your car from damage and when you put your car into park it basically is held into place by the transmission so the parking brake relieves that pressure

Does it make sense to set the parking brake before putting it in park and releasing the brake?

Technically you should engage parking brakes while you have your foot on the brakes and before you put your vehicle into park.

I sure do... as well as every time I park...manual or automatic. What a weird non-tip.
