Early in my career, I was actually an engineer at Tinder, and I remember thinking why can't we apply this type of technology to porn, it would be so fun. You could just swipe left or right on porn that you like and the system would get better and better at learning what you like, and wouldn't be it be funny if it was called Porndora since Pandora is already so good at this with music.

Amateur is my favorite genre but the new trend of highly produced amateur doesn't really work for me. Is this recognized and separated with your recommendations?

We don't specifically classify amateur into highly produced vs not highly produced, but let's start! Our site supports community tagging, and you can create your own tags. So if you start tagging the amateur content you like with something like 'Cheap Amateur', and that tag becomes popular, the system will naturally start recommending more of that type of amateur to you.

Also, early next year, we'll start building a collaborative filtering deep learning recommendation engine that will take into account these implicit preferences as well. We just need more data to do this type of machine learning well.
