Traveling to Hartford in a few weeks for a wedding - I shoot film as a hobby & since it’ll be my first time in CT, figured it’s a good opportunity to add to my not-portfolio. Any recommendations for cool photo spots? I shoot street & landscape so not really picky or anything

Bushnell Park has some cool spots, although it looks nicer when the trees actually have leaves in my opinion. The Gold Building causes reflections on the nearby buildings that can look super cool

Lots of cool architecture all over; go up and down main street between Talcott and Capitol Aves, for example. And a few blocks in either direction. The south-west corner of that rectangle is Bushnell Park, which some other people have suggested.

North of Bushnell towards the train station, then a bit more west, will find people hanging out and moving around if you do the people kind of street photography.

Like others have mentioned, it’s not the best time of year for nature pics, but if you’re going for an urban vibe, I’d check out The Old State House (front or back), The Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch, The Mark Twain House, steps of Wadsworth Atheneum, The Pump House Galley, Bushnell Park Carousel, Hartford Prints on Pratt Street, painted murals, and Butler-McCook Homestead.

The west end neighborhood surrounding Elizabeth park could be a good place to check out. UConn law school is there too and has gothic style architecture. The mark twain house up Farmington avenue. Riverside park is well along the Connecticut river and looks south towards downtown.

Glad to see a fellow film photographer wanting to capture Hartford! I agree with a lot of spots mentioned here. Bushnell Park is a must, and most of downtown is great. The river walk provides some interesting perspectives. Also consider stopping by The Camera Bar on Asylum Street while in downtown; it's a lovely camera store!
