Not all ODs are heroin, not all people who OD are bad people who deserve to die from their addiction.

People with legitimate prescriptions can develop tolerance, can unintentionally take too many, can lose their prescription and switch to cheaper and more unsafe alternatives.

Purdue and other big pharma corps made bank pushing addictive prescriptions on people for any pain whatsoever. Have some empathy.

Agreed. You have no idea what led this person to misusing drugs in the first place - trauma, abuse, mental health, etc. Anyone can become addicted to substances, it doesn’t make them bad people. The woman in photos has every right to be proud and defiant having overcome so much. Wishing her and her son the best for the future.
