But it if they don’t reference some vague threat towards the entire planet, they can’t cram in as many buzzwords into a single title

The people controlling the politicians. Business interests and lobbyists.
Now, it's not a world order in that they have absolute control over everything, but it is a world order in that they're apart of the 'elite' and can influence their buddies to act accordingly.
The world order is based on social circles of the elite. They don't care about other social circles and they're only doing what most people would do if they found themselves in a similar position.

It's easier to believe that the ones at the top have no control or are incompetent, than to accept that they are doing it all on purpose and getting away with it.

There were a number of "technologies" that threatened the current world order throughout history... and so the path continues.

The world order did change radically during the period 1945-2019 (with the rise of racially integrated democracy), but that mainly had to do with WWII teaching people just how bad racism and imperialism could be.

I’m surprised that more people haven’t begun exploring the possibility of enhancing human nature through science at this point to become less tribal and prejudiced and more selfless and peaceful.

Some technological advances are so great that they create ruptures in our understanding of what is possible. Eighty years ago, such a rift took place via the invention of the atom bomb, transforming the way we conceive of warfare and global order.
Today, rapid advancements in scientific and technological progress hold that very same potential. From artificial intelligence to synthetic biology, experts and policymakers are beginning to dissect the potential consequences of adding unfamiliar, highly advanced, and potentially devastating new additions to the toolboxes of adversarial powers.

Four years ago, I would have said "You're crazy, and this is a nut case "Conspiracy Theory", but after watching what has been happening, worldwide, I have changed my opinion. These things will (have) become tools for the elite to take more control over the people. True individual freedom will cease, in favor of collectivism / communism. Authoritarian Totalitarianism IS coming...AGAIN... as it has throughout human history, and I doubt we the people can stop it! (Although I do see people rising up around the world, but its probably too late though.)

Quite the contrary, AI would free the 99% from the control of the 1%. That's because its superior intelligence would mean it'll easily take power from the elites, and share it equally among the masses. Basically communism, but if it worked.
The incredible danger lies in the reaction of the 1%, they're not going to go down easy. They have a small window between when technology gives them huge power and makes them powerless, and it's in that window that they'll try some really crazy stuff, like killing the 99%.

ofcourse. and at some point in technology we won't be able to stop us.
I think my fear of our mastery of biology is what's going to doom us sooner than anything else. were manipulating viruses to cure diseases but can we manipulate them to kill people not of a certain race, or anyone not vaccinated?
If X country could vaccinate their population and release a deadly virus that goes undetected for 1 year while being virulent and then kills anyone not vaccinated after that one year.
Every time i think of the future all i see is doom and gloom.

the single biggest threat to humanity, isn't foreign powers, it's technology. We need to put aside our differences and create a unified world governing body to combat this threat. The only way we survive is if we work to create security against the common foe. There can be no more division. Invention can no longer be conducted in secrecy. The world must know exactly what is being created and where. Technology is a thorned rose, it is a wonderful thing that has the potential to provide prosperity to all, but it also has the potential to be extremely dangerous. We can no longer allow private research. We must switch to all research being supervised, and must be directed to serving the collective good. Technology is something that can no longer be private. It must become a part of the government, we can't allow tech to be used for profit and private ownership. it's a force of nature. A natural resource. The problems and rewards of it need to be collective.

The current world order is replaced by the next world order. Tribalism is replaced by feudalism, feudalism is replaced by capitalism, capitalism decays into fascism and comes back because "that wasn't real capitalism", capitalism will be replaced by socialism, socialism will be replaced by something we don't have a name for yet.
