My wife had applied for a replacement license online, it was delivered by mail in about 2 weeks. We try to stay out of the DMV if at all possible.

I would love to do that, but the online replacement requires you to know your license number. I'm not sure how anyone remembers that.

I always have a scan of my license.

But also it’s saved many places.

Always scan and keep a copy of your license.

I use a program called 1password and keep info like this stashed in there so it’s always at my fingertips.

Anyway, if you filed taxes look there. Also in your insurance policy documents.
