Article is biased. Could be right no doubt, but extremely biased “compelled” “forced”

When someone with a machete turns on you, after your taser fails to stop them, I wonder what you would feel compelled to do, and in this scenario you can not let the person wander off with a deadly weapon, it is your sworn duty to prevent that so others are not harmed.

No I agree with you if that is the situation. My point is questioning whether that is the situation in the first place

In today's age of video cameras being everywhere, whether the police are wearing body cameras or not, they have to believe someone is shooting video of them.

Nah after George Floyd + lots of other examples before and since, I’m skeptical of these reports

When anything happens now first thing people do is whip out their cell phones. Especially in Cambridge.

Do you acknowledge cops fudge things even in the 21st century?
fordag t1_j301xm0 wrote
Yes of course.
My point is that there are too many cameras out there now and it's getting more and more risky for cops to do stupid crap like that.

I guess, but it hasn’t stopped them before so I still think it’s fair to be skeptical.
And for the record when it comes down to it I really do believe this is what happened. But im not gonna take the cops word for it

It's not their sworn duty to prevent anything.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but you know this is the definition of prejudice. Let's see what actually happened here first. This doesn't sound like your typical traffic stop overreaction... Something crazy was going on here.
Mountain_Resolve1407 t1_j2zz5a0 wrote
How is that prejudice?

Not that they’re lying, just that you can’t take their word at face value.
I think they are probably telling the truth, but given other examples of police misconduct, I want to see other evidence

...we're talking about Cambridge, MA, where it was national news that cops arrested a famous black professor at his own house, because a neighbor called in a break-in in progress.
