How often should you replace the head? I was hoping for BIFL heads if you submerge them in bleach for a few hours.

Dentist will tell you every 3 months. The bristles wear down and become ragged with use.

I change my on the equinoxes.

Regardless of changing them for sanitary purposes, if your bristle splay out, you’re pushing too hard. (OP, you’re pushing too hard)

Dealing with stress is hard - hang in there! And just push only gently when brushing, your teeth (and future wallet) will thank you.
