I don't think that's it, they're using way too much pressure when brushing. That's how any toothbrush ends up looking like this, electric or not.

It’s a combination of both. I’m a stressful brusher and brush twice a day religiously. The head… I don’t change too often mainly beca I don’t remember to buy them

It was a birthday gift I got myself in college
Replacing the heads is regular honestly but they come in packs of three. When they run out I tend to forget to change them
