Let's clarify this a little: she was married to Walter Breen, noted pedophile and high ranking member of NAMBLA. She most definitely was a pedophile as well.

I do a reading challenge every year, but not for any particular reason. I'm just a very progress oriented person who likes lists and challenges. It's part of the fun!

If you're writing to make a career of it, I have bad news in general friend. Write to write.

This take is really reductive. King is prolific, but he doesn't always try and write literary masterpieces.
You absolutely cannot read The Body, Hearts in Atlantis, or the Green Mile and not consider him a modern literary great.
Sure, stuff like UR and other schlocky works aren't masterpieces. He didn't write them to be.

I was imagining those first edition full paperbacks that are HARD to find, because it was a pretty small print run.

You're telling me you had a set of the first edition Andrews paperbacks and you sold them in a garage sale.

Absolutely. I won't ever be able to return to Mists of Avalon. Not knowing that what's in it isn't supposed to be commentary. It's propaganda.
