With Number One Sons closing, your best bet is to head out to Silver Spring or Rockville and get some pickles at Parkway Deli, Woodside, or Attman's (or one of the other delis in the area.

Just so you know, Woodside closed their doors sometime last year.

That’s a bummer. I remember when their Silver Spring location closed after like 70 years. There’s still a location in Germantown, but I think it’s under different ownership.

Wegmans has Ba-Tampte which are my favorite. I especially like the half sours. If you see the mustard, grab it too.

That is a phenomenal question! I found Stachowski Market - a butcher shop in Georgetown has really good kosher pickles. Also, has really good sandwiches!

Making your own is disturbingly easy. Got cucumbers, salt, vinegar and a jar?

It doesn’t count if it wasn’t blessed by a rabbi. Adds flavor.

There is a kosher market in Rockville which has Brooklyn brand. They are OK. Park side is better IMO.
