Walk up the closed notch road to the top. It’s beautiful. Check out like 7 historic covered bridges within 20 minutes.
Brewster River Brewery, Lost Nation Brewery, Ten Bends Brewery, Newly reopened Family Table restaurant in Jeffersonville. Make jewelry with a master at this really cool art boutique on the mountain road. Play laser tag at Smuggs. Stay away from Stowe.

There isn't much around there besides what's on the resort itself. It's mostly oriented towards family / kids but I know there's live music pretty regularly. The Brewster River pub is right by the resort it's a good watering hole but really not much else around there.

Cambridge is the closest town. They have a good brunch site in 158 Main, some small stores in a little downtown, a gluten free beer maker, and a distiller. But if you're looking to take up more than a few hours you'll find yourself driving further towards Burlington or Montpelier.

Smuggs does open for skiing this weekend but terrain will be limited and likely of advanced ability if that suits ya.

Morrisville has good breweries and a great donut shop.

Walking the notch road can be fun. It's windy af the though. Dress warm.

You'll be close to Burlington - beautiful lake, shopping, dining, brew pubs, etc. Smuggs will probably have outdoor things for you to do in addition to skiing.
