Too late for reservations for Valentine’s Day evening?

I don’t live in the city, but work here and was wondering if there is still any chance of getting a reservation somewhere in Providence for a reasonably nice Valentine’s Day dinner? It definitely does NOT have to be fancy or expensive (ie could be a hole-in-the-wall with great food, etc.) Just good food and a decent atmosphere. Would be looking for a place after 7pm (I know, I know…) Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Possibly the worst day to work in the industry next to Mother’s Day. Just pick another day of the week to go out to dinner, I guarantee you’ll have a better time.

I actually feel like downtown might have a good amount of openings, there’s a big PC game at 7 so everywhere is gonna be booked before the game but not during it.

I don’t know if this is an option but I used to go out for Valentines Day on Feb 13. Never had to worry about reservations, feeling rushed, or being surrounded by a ton of couples lol.

We started going out on Super Bowl Sunday last year and we’re gonna do it again. Absolutely no one is at restaurants that don’t have TVs lol
