I’ll start:
- Pete and Elda’s - Neptune
I’ll start:
Ralphs in East Rutherford is god awful. My girlfriend broke a 4 year vegan streak there and the pizza was burnt, dry and flavorless !
Ralphs in NUTLEY however is a gem
Going to Ralph’s today infact
Lido in Hackensack is the answer to this question, every single time. I think if there was a single comment I've left the most times across all of reddit, it's this one, on this sub, answering this question.
Ralph’s in East Rutherford is terrible
Delorenzos in robbinsville.
DeLorenzo's in Trenton
Getting pies from there tonight!
Arturo’s in Maplewood and Vinnie’s Pan Pizza in Millburn
Joes in maplewood
That Tartufi pie from Arturo’s!!!
Vic's, Bradley Beach
UVA, Bradley Beach
Federici's, Freehold
Saturn Pizza, Brick
Vic’s brings the business. Everyone sleeps on Vic’s with P&E five minutes away but there’s nothing like Vic’s fried calamari and a meatball pie on a Sunday. So much more flavorful than P&E with its own unique texture and tang from their sauce.
If we’re mentioning Brick spots La Fontana has hands down the best Chicken Parm and Cheese Steak pies I’ve ever had in my life. Their plain is nothing incredibly special but their specialty slices are banging.
Saturn pizza? The one that's out of a gas station?
DeLucia's in Raritan
Rocco’s in Florence! Of course!
The Brooklyn Pizza at Rocco’s is 🔥
That’s the one thing I miss about working remote now, I haven’t been to Rocco’s in over two years.
is that on 130?
Yup! Well, a mile off of 130.
Lido Lido Lido Lido Lido, Hackensack
Star Tavern (but get it well done), Orange (I think)
Pizza Heaven, Parlin/Sayreville
Nunzio's, Sayreville/South Amboy
Marina's, East Rutherford/Wallington (I think it's closed now, but was always on my Mt Rushmore)
Joe's, Padonnos, and Proud Papas (Union)
Denino's, Brick
For pizza, I put Glendale over those other Union places. But you can't beat Padonnos meatball parm subs
Oh nice, I think I’ve only had food from there once but I generally stick with Padonno’s and Papas because I live super close to both of them. Joe’s is very similar to Padonno’s, but I never get it because it’s on the opposite side of town. I’ll have to give Padonno’s sub a try, I never really liked their actual food other than the cheesesteaks
And now I have to try their cheesesteaks
Just a heads up, they make them with whiz instead of melted cheese (which is why I like them)
Yes proud papas!

Sciortino’s in South Amboy & Perth Amboy, Ranchito’s in Fords, Brooklyn Boys in Edison, Federici’s in Freehold, and of course the legendary Coffaro’s in South River (r.i.p.)
Krispy is super overrated, Nunzio’s in Sayreville straight up sucks. That shit ain’t pizza
