Looking for recommendations for a decent haircut looking under $30 not including tip. Preferably a place which is close to a light rail station

Haircut inflation is like 30% from 2019
You could book a haircut with one of the apprentices at Virile barbershop. There are 2 locations in downtown. When you book with an apprentice, the haircut is free because they’re still in training. I usually do that when my usual guy isn’t available and it’s always a great cut. Tip generously though.
Wow even $30 can’t get you a professional haircut in jersey city. It is kinda crazy to me cause in 30 bucks I used to get a lot from where I moved.
The barber has to pay their exorbitant rent/mortgage/property tax too. Not gonna do that by charging $20 per haircut
Bro go to R&R barbershop near by JSQ. 20 bucks. Parking is rough. Been a JC resident for 20 years
It’s $25 now for a regular haircut but still recommend them 100%
Adams on Hutton and Summit. Solid haircut, reasonable price and plenty of attitude. Perfect for JC.
I’m having a hard time find them on the web. Do you have link to a page or a address or anything?
Lol no. You just walk in and pray he has time for you.
Hahaha thanks.
He charges $25 including tip.
I just got to Great Clips now. Used to go to V's Barbershop but they're just expensive and bad imo
Great clips off harborside light rail is $20. Always been happy with it
Great clips. Literally on the light rail
Kinda don’t like they don’t let you choose a stylist while booking an appointment. Also, haven’t heard great things about them but ig only ppl in the price range for $20 here.
X-press Cuts
How much is a haircut there?
Not sure the name of it, but I go to a barber shop next to Eggmania in JSQ. It isn’t listed on Google Maps but I swear it does exist! They charge $15 for a men’s cut and they actually take their time with it. My girlfriend is a big fan. Would highly recommend, but they are cash only.
David’s isn’t far from light rail. Check prices out online
Ramsay on Communipaw is a short walk through Berry Lane Park from the Garfield Ave light rail. Haircuts are $30.
JCPenny’s at the mall. Make an appointment with Abdel. You might need to call for the appointment because the online system removed him for some reason. He’s $25 and good.
Vs Barbershop is $38 which is a little over but right by a light rail stop
V's is terrible, especially the barber in the first chair as you walk in. I'm never going back.
