Hello everyone, I would like to know is the PS5 truly pulling off games at 120 hertz at 1440p minimum? This question comes from a pc gamer (which is my self) and I have a decent custom build. I have a Ryzen 5 5500 and a rtx 2070 super for my gaming specs ( I have more to my build but I don’t feel it’s necessary to explain my question). I would be surprised if the PS5 is pulling minimum 120 fps in games running games at 1440p resolution. With minimum FPS dips here and there. Please feel free to let me know if I framed this question in a weird way.

Question: Is the PS5 playing games at 120 hertz stable at 1440p? With minimal frame dips.

Edited: Also I own a 1440p monitor that has a maximum refresh rate of 144hertz.

Supports 4K 120fps. More likely to see 30-60fps

From what I've seen mentioned from Digital Foundry, PS5 performs around the level of a 2070 super.

Forespoken is going to have a 120hz mode, but that is targeting 40fps.

It's unlikely that any PS5 games are going to hit 120fps. Developers will target 30 or 60 fps. There will be some that have an option for 40fps or variable refresh rate.
