Tell me when AMD has a CUDA equivalent. Really, I don't want to burn money on Nvidia but still works better at Premiere.

Since most cards cost more than a high end system these days, I'm hanging on to my 1080ti and Windows 10 as looooong as I can!

I legit just purchased a 1080ti on ebay for 180$ like 2-3 months ago. I don't play many games, but the 1080ti runs league at 1440p at 144 FPS without issue, so I won't be upgrading until this thing dies.

I hear you. I still have my 1060oc. I just can’t reasonably justify seven to eight hundred dollars for just one card.

Especially when they can't mine their cost back. My 3070 paid for itself after a couple months in 2021.

Fuck mining and fuck crypto. It's all a fucking scam and always has been.

Just like most investment schemes
Golluk t1_ivkkgdx wrote
Yeah, I'd rather have just had normal prices and availability. Would never buy, but my last two cards have had the cost covered by mining. Little risk doing that.

I miss the days you could get a mid to high end cards for around $300 to $500. Seems like card prices have doubled in the last decade or so
