Trying to find a place where I can buy a wooden storage/keepsake box locally. Michaels craft store sells them but they are too small. Looking for something around 8"LX 5 to 6"WX 3.5 or 4" H.. BONUS if they do image engraving too.

Too bad Mill Stores shut down all their sites except the original.

If you strike out, just hit up Etsy. This sort of thing is widely available there. Once you search for an item, you can specify what shipping location you want and then narrow it to Massachusetts (just Worcester has minimal results). At least you're still supporting a small local business in that case.

Seconded. Even if OP can't find exactly what they're looking for, there are likely plenty of local woodworkers selling *other stuff on Etsy who would be happy to take a commission.

Would an empty, cedar cigar box work? Not typically blank wood though.

Wild-assed guess here, but do those mall stores still exist? Forget the name, but you would get things like this, or groomsmen's gifts, or graduation gifts there. There was one at one time in Solomon Pond and pretty sure Natick too.

They engraved everything. I think if you were nice to them they would even engrave your cat.

"Things Remembered"....I haven't seen one or thought about one in a long time, but according to their website they are still open in Solomon Pond and Burlington. I haven't been there in years!

That's it! Wow, they are still there. Haven't been to Solomon Pond since Before Covid (BC), have to say I am surprised.

Though I recall they weren't exactly cheap either, so maybe that accounts for some of why they've stayed open.
