Used Skis

What are some places that sell used/like new skis in RI. Tried FB marketplace and could not find anything that matches what I was looking for.

We used to use Anderson's Ski and Dive in EG. They always had a good selection and helpful staff, they understand the difference between "I ski Wachusett a few times a year" and more serious stuff. Website sucks but give them a call.

Second vote for Anderson's. If they don't have what you're looking for, and you're headed up to NH, its worth a stop at Putnam's in Portsmouth, NH. They are pretty well known for their second hand basement shop.

I would make sure to know your stuff and research a purchase. Skis tend to have a shelf life to the bindings and are only idemnified for 10ish years for safety and fb marketplace (and some secondhand stores) have some very old skis. Someone who knows how to do bindings will have the knowledge/skills to repurpose older stuff and avoid injury.

It sounds like you're looking to purchase like new, so this is less likely to be an issue, but there might be really old bindings or barely used skis so check the info.

alpine in warwick has used stuff. Just bought used boots there in November, Also found good stuff at Andersons in East Greenwich

There's a ski shop rt 146 north Smithfield. I was there renting skis for my son. They said stuff comes and goes throughout the season. Could give them a call and see what they have your size. Very nice people
