Due to the drought the price of Christmas tree seem crazy this year, and a lot are not allowing you to cut your own, which we have always done with the kids. In the past we have done The Farmers Daughter, Bedrock Tree Farm, and Big John Leydans. Anyone know prices at the Farmers Daughter? They didn’t answer and have an automated phone message. My wife is SET on getting a local tree, any suggestions in South County? Prices would be good if you know them. Thank you in advance!

A lot of the tree farms in MA are staying closed this year for growth due to the drought.

I was seeing $125 at Big John Leyden.l for 5-6ft blue spruce. Ended up at Farmers Daughter, they had a bunch of prices depending on the size and type of tree. We ended up paying $68. I saw one or two monsters for $375.

I remember seeing that Farmer's Daughter is not doing cut your own this year. I don’t know if that means the trees will be trucked in from elsewhere, or still from their farm…

We got our tree last weekend at Farmer’s Daughter. No choose and cut option, but we got a nice 8.5 tree for $90 which sounds pretty reasonable to me?

We got ours 5-6ft it was $68. Last year I want to say around $55 for cut your own. Prices were reasonable.

Liberty Ln in SK has a tree farm. $45 cut it yourself. Still plenty of decent ones. Only reason I put this out there is because I already got my tree. Otherwise it's a very low key place.

You can’t cut your own, but Mike’s Tree Farm on Pippin Orchard Rd in Cranston’s prices haven’t changed: ($70 for a 7’, $80 for 8’, etc.)

I just got back from the farmer's daughter. They have trees that don't look like they were trucked in, so they must have a non public field they are taking them from. Looks to be about $10-15 more than last year.

I think that the Farmer's Daughter cut your own place was $60 for trees under ten feet last year.
