Anyone have a place they recommend for these? Looking to stock up once a year and would love to support a Maine farm if possible. Thanks!

Love that, thank you!
Really cares as they’re lined up for slaughter Can you hear yourself
I get all my beef from Heartstone farms. They do shares and you can also order individual cuts (what I usually do). Just placed an order for $450 in ground beef and steaks with free delivery.
I think I looked at their website earlier!
Heartstone is pricey, but worth it. We’ve ordered from them 3 times and love the beef.
Yes definitely noticed it's a bit more expensive than others but we will probably be splitting a 1/4 so well worth the quality I am sure.
You love beef
It’s very good. All grass fed and great flavor.
Where are you located?
We're north of Augusta and sold out of shares, but may be able to refer you to someone.
We are in Newcastle and would love some referrals!
Sorry! The weekend got away from me. I was going to suggest Heartstone, but see that someone below beat me to it. The quality is great - you get what you pay for with meat.
If you've never bought by the half or whole before, ask him to guide you through it so that you know just what you can expect.
Here’s a referral Stop killing sentient life just to eat
This isn't a post about diet choice. You could easily scroll on by as commenting like this is probably not the best way to sway anyone's decisions here. But thanks so much for your opinion. Truly.
Try Wolfe’s Neck Farm in Freeport
I bought a whole cow from Farmers Gate in Leeds last year. Was about $3.5k
Emery's stopped with COVID but I am pretty sure they going to be starting back up again soon.
Farmer Dan, Hearthstone Farm. All organic, local beef and chicken. We bought a quarter share last month. Best meat I've ever tasted.
Go to your local farmer market and ask around. Or ask at the local butcher shop
Heartstone Farms excellent meat and people
I go up to Herring Brothers once a year for my swine and make a day of it. Great towns and trout streams along the way.
Old Crow Ranch in Durham
Hi, I'm a local pork farmer, they are pasture and forest raised. We sell half and whole pigs!
Where are you located? I’m interested In a pork share.
We are located in Richmond. You can find us on Instagram if you want to check us out. @therootedpigme You can laugh at me while I chase pigs down when they get out 😂
County fair farm in Jefferson has beef and pork in bulk
Amish fellow on Bear creek off of Golden Ridge/ Rt two and they sell raw milk and dairy as well. No phone of course.

I'm not sure when they open their books for shares again but I've dealt with Colin from Roaring Lion farm in Sedgwick before and he's a great farmer. Really cares about his animals and respecting the path food takes to make it's way to our tables.
