I worked at a camp out there for 8 years and the landscape is absolutely beautiful even in summer. Wish camp ran during the spring time bloom but still. Thanks for the photo!

I went on a hike out there in early spring 2012. It was absolutely beautiful. For the majority of the sixteen miles, the only other humans I saw were in airplanes.

Be sure to get some pie in Julian while you are on your way out there.

yeah! probably just an average bloom this year. but average is pretty great. these flowers began in november -- lower elevation areas of anza-borrego do not really have a winter season.
