No, Jupiter is a tiny dot compared to the moon, and doesnt have any way to cast a shadow on the moon.

Bloodmoons are caused by the moon being in the earths shadow, so the light from the sun that reaches it filters through our atmosphere making it red (like sunsets)

This is how it starts- lots of interesting things up there. Get an app like Sky Guide or Night Sky. You can then point your phone at it and it will tell you what star, planet, satellite, etc it is. If you want to find something specific, you type it in and the app directs you where to look.

Yes. I have been noticing it. Its appears more easterly earlier in the evening and is directly overhead at about 4 AM. Very bright. Seems to be Mars.
