Oella Mills (outside old EC) has gas.

Make sure any place you get that has a gas stove hs externally venting fans for the stove and oven. It's not uncommon for apartments to cheap out on that, but in small enclosed area (like an apartment) that can be really unhealthy.

Yeah, when I first moved to the area I REALLY wanted to live there but there wasn't any availability.

I saw a relatively new 500k+ townhouse (and this was 6 years ago) with a newly remodeled kitchen... and the stove was on an outside wall, with a vent going outside, and the hood was just installed wrong so the air circulated. After installing a new fan over my stove, I now know exactly what they had done wrong, and it was pure laziness (not even cost).

Columbia pointe/grand pointe apartments (they changed their name). I know the main tower has gas.

Just curious why the preference for gas? I ask because I specifically avoid gas because of how much indoor NO2 it can create and would rather have an induction stove that I believe is more efficient overall too, so I'm curious what your reasons are for wanting gas.

Electronic gets dirtier quicker, and ask any chef they’ll prefer gas to electronic

Electric coils, or induction? I googled "chefs gas vs induction" and I see how easy they are to clean as one of the benefits for why chefs like induction over gas.

It's just the way I like to cook. I'm not to concerned with air pollution in the apartment. You can turn on the hood of the stove or open a window.

It heats much faster and you tend not to have to worry about cool down and you have better immediate control over the heat. Also if your electric goes out you have a cooking source.

Of course there are cons with gas as well - mainly its well EXPLOSIVE. However the intelligensia trend to bring climate change into everything is annoying.

[edit: I just happened to get a magazine talking about induction stoves; apparently the temperature control is really good on these. However, with old fashioned electric stoves my comment still stands]
