That's amazing! The candles on the right need a little bit of work and I feel like the bedcover has no 'weight' but otherwise simply breathtaking

I actually forgot to put a light on the candles lol they were a last min addition

I was going to do it in UE5 , but decided to do it in 3ds max and Vray 5. I'll convert the scene to ue5 sometime this week and see if I ca get better results

How long does something like this take you? Do you construct each object in the scene or are you importing assets?
terrytibbss OP t1_itmyaf4 wrote
I made the room and textures. All of the 3d assets are things I've gathered over the years, I did a scene just like this a few years ago using vray 3 so thought I'd re do it and see how much I have improved. The whole thing took me around 2 hours mainly playing around with the lighting and camera settings

How do you compare the program you're using to Blender? I've got blender and have used it a handful of times. But it's a steep learning curve for me
terrytibbss OP t1_itnek3f wrote
i find 3ds max is pretty good to use, since most of the things i use such as Vray, Forerspt pack pro etc are compatible with 3ds max and easy to use. Ive never actually used blender but i believe its rather similar

The only reason I could tell this was digital and not a photograph is because of that perfectly green fiddle-leaf fig.
