Why so many hyphens?

I think your post title means to say you won’t NOT buy a book because you don’t like the cover.

The two I can think of are below, but knowing such a thing about either one is a major spoiler for them both, as it’s not entirely clear as you read what the deal is. Both are quite strange books and often make the lists when people ask for “weirdest of all time” books.

And

I love how diners have “little coffins” of jam and jelly.
If you ever get to Salinas, California you can see the actual truck.

Right. Waste of money. They should do nothing and spend any money they might use on the fucking license plate and just fix the god damned roads.

So, nothing.

That one’s actually a bit better, but it still reads like “high school kid writes a Reacher novel.”

Yeah, the last couple of books (the ones co-written) are pale imitations of the ones that came before. And the ones that came before, as formulaic as they were, all had a certain sense of tense excitement to them.
Something is missing with the new ones, and it’s hard to put a finger on. I still get them and read them all, but it might be close to time to wrap it up.

The book and movie are famously quite different in many ways, but I enjoyed both.
The book has more purely “fantastical” horror elements and the movie remains focused on the psychological factors at work.

Yeah, it’s almost as if one of the two main political parties tried as hard as they could all over the country to make it harder for people to vote.
Weird huh?

Enough. That’s all that matters. Everybody should be able to vote.

Agreed. I mean, if you’re going to suggest a politician should go to jail, at least back it up with evidence and the exact crimes in questions.
You know, like this:
