The truth is that high school hours are based on what adults want and not what is in the best developmental interest of adolescents.
There is a ton of research pointing to the benefits of later starts and other accommodations to promote teen learning.

I don’t think there’s any room left in the market up here. Prices are currently lower than they were in the late 1980s.

No lol. I’m still back at my original point which is that has not yet been recognized by the government as a non experiment intervention. Until that occurs there are not options for getting the treatment yet - there are no prescribers out there able to use it. It’s still not viewed as medicine. I know it works and it will be a great tool for some in The future

Yeah, I get that my whole point is just the government isn’t allowing them to be used that way yet

I’m twice your age and I know that it’s been around forever and a curiosity to people, especially those who are inclined to do recreational drugs. There’s always been this hope that we can find magic in the things that make us feel good, like on our days off. There’s still needs to be a lot of research. Keep in mind that the United States went through a period of time where we felt like cocaine was medicinal.

It’s not legal yet, and there’s no one in the State licensed to deliver it. It’s currently in widespread use, however, in clubs, and at raves.

Fair enough, to each his own.
One note tho - Implying that it is medicine without evidence is worse than calling it a club drug. It’s been a club drug a whole hell of a lot longer than it’s been an antidepressant (if it turns out to be)

If someone I love is on the brink of suicide I want to know that they are getting professional, evidence based help.
Magic mushrooms are an emerging field with little evidence base. So is cannabis. It’s too soon to be confident that you can Street drug your way out of a serious bout of depression.

Experimenting with club drugs can also be a pretty dumb thing to do if you are struggling with a mental health problem on your own.

Yeah, it went something like this. Hi Bangor code enforcement officer, there’s a falling down building near my house that’s been that way for nearly 20 years. I’m wondering if the city is going to take any action because it doesn’t seem safe.

Cool ask him about that empty gas station on Garland Street next to the laundromat. I called him about that place. 25 years ago. They don’t work hard at city hall.

Why does the city of Bangor allow property to sit around derelict? Seems like we need a more assertive code enforcement officer
