Thank you, the weapons policy page I got from googling didn't mention pepper spray either way so I wasn't sure.

To each their own, it is still better to have the option to have it if you want to try to spray and run. Not just in this case, but just in general.
Never been a fan of the "just bend over and take it mentality".
Edit: They do sell both gel, foam, and mist types. The latter you're likely to get some blowback but you get a bigger cloud.

Well yeah concealed means concealed.
That's still a little harder, and with more repercussions if caught, for a staffer to pull off than someone visiting or walking through.

Awful, hopefully someone will recognize them and do the right thing.
I know you can't carry on VCU property but can you at least have pepper spray? Or do they completely leave their staff to the wolves?

Are you saying another Walmart shooting in general or at that specific one? The last parking lot shooting was at the Chattanooga Plaza one.

Obviously, he knows how you get it done. No delivery company big or small is going to bother following traffic laws and parking tickets are just the cost of doing business. UPS one year paid NYC over 30 million dollars in parking fines.
Can they be dicks about it? Absolutely. Is anything going to change? Unlikely, especially as the supply of legal street parking dwindles.

Slight pedantic correction: She was charged with what the CA felt like pursuing.
A CA charging or declining to charge someone for something does not mean they did or did not violate a particular section of Code.

From what I gather the CA is going along with the story that the dog/owner got startled and was supposedly protecting the owner.
Which to me is bullshit, if you can't control your dog you have out in public off leash from killing someone in their own yard because they said hi to you then you should be getting involuntary manslaughter charges.
Hopefully there will be a civil suit.

The charitable answer would be that he was both a former state trooper and currently had some role within the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

It probably would work fine but would just be redundant for now. 95% of my downloaded media I watch on the TV that is close to my PC so being plugged in and controlled with a steam controller works out fine.
The other 5% I end up watching on the bedroom TV I just run through Handbrake and stick on a USB since Roku is weird about certain codecs.

Good find on the SD cards. Agree about the rest of PC stuff. I was hoping EVGA would discount more of their B-stock 30 series stuff since the 3070Tis they have are just above my insta buy price.
WD had their Reds on a decent discount but idk if I want to deal with a Plex server yet. So far running a long HDMI cable from my PC to TV is working out well enough and I still have a few TB free internally.

After a very stressful Turkey day I was happy to have today to decompress and decided to push work to Sunday since it's gonna rain anyway.
My only forays into shopping were cat litter and liquor but deals are deals.

There are a couple active GRTC routes in Chesterfield, mostly near the County/City line but they're there. 1A, 2B, & 3B
You'd need to make park and rides with security for them to be viable anywhere else in the county.

Lucky, I have a couple that are only a short drive from my office and they're always mobbed. Like literally I leave a minute or two after getting the email and there will be already be a decent line by the time I get there.

If it's anything like the Brightpoint(dumbest fucking name btw) renaming you have school branded shit everywhere that they have to change.
All the letterhead, signs, promotional materials, website, apparel, etc. have to be switched over and can add up quickly.
Brightpoint for example is still using furniture that has the John Tyler seal on it because they either didn't budget for replacing it too or just don't care.

Can they at least go ahead and rip it out so that they can start fixing the intersection, and just keep it in storage till the courts decide where it finally ends up?

None of us know the exact details how it went down, what floor, how close to an exit, etc. but don't pretend that spray and run is never a viable strategy, especially in a relatively well trafficked part of town in broad daylight.
Who is talking about fighting them? Pepper spray isn't for subduing it is literally just to disorient to give you a chance to get away.
Obviously a gun is better but the point of pepper spray is if you are forced by your employer/state to otherwise disarm yourself it is better than nothing.
